The objective of this special issue was to bring together recent developments and methodological contributions within this field, with the challenges that characterize innovation and entrepreneurship in the HEI Sector. Mostly, the papers in this issue contribute to a better understanding of this topic. A wide-ranging thematic analysis underlying innovation and entrepreneurship in HEI are advanced in this special issue.
